It was also in that year that a young shoemaker named John Glauber started his own business, Glauber’s shoes. The shoe store is now closed but it was one of the oldest stores continually operated for more than a century in the state of Kentucky.

Glauber’s to this day still offers a wide range of work boots from Muck, Timberland Pro, and Redwing Shoes. Over the years Glauber’s has expanded its offering to include hunting and shooting products. Glauber’s has everything the modern sportsman is looking for.

With so many guns in stock, we need plenty of ammo. We carry the most popular calibers as well as calibers most stores don’t bother with. If you need it, we have it. With the area’s largest reloading department we are constantly expanding it to suit everyone’s needs.

Our archery department is hands down the area’s best. We have one of the widest selections of bows, arrows, and accessories.
